Job Description, The Nuts and Bolts
The Interactive ACD is responsible for the conception, design, and execution of innovative visual materials for integrated, cross channel initiatives including: large web initiatives, online advertising and digital marketing. The individual who fills this role should possess strong either conceptual copy or design skills and assist the Creative Director in improving the conceptual, technical and creative performance of staff within his or her group.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Create a range of concepts and designs for each project and be able to partner with copywriters to insure the art direction and visual presentation supports the concept.
- Communicate visual designs, motion design, concepts and storyboards through presentations and securing client approval of recommended designs.
- Lead interactive teams of designers, copywriters, and production artists to execute cross channel and digital work.

Digital Media Planner
Overall Purpose:
- The digital media planner (DMP) is the day-to-day focal point of the account. It is the DMP who is expected to have a complete and unquestioned understanding of their assigned clients media business. They are also expected to have an understanding of their client’s overall business and marketing objectives.
- The DMP is steward of the media planning process and is expected to provide mid-level strategic recommendations to the senior media team and/or the client. The position is usually supported by the Digital Media Associate and reports to the Digital Media Director.

The VP Marketing is responsible for all aspects of the marketing program for Seaport Hotels and the World Trade Center, as well as all food and beverage outlets located on the Seaport campus. (S)he is responsible for the support and advancement of Seaport positioning and brand identity. (S)he is responsible for the development and reinforcement of product and service standards for existing products and the development and launching of new concepts and products. (S)he is responsible for communicating all programs related to the hotel, World Trade Center and restaurants within the campus, to the Seaport tenants, travel and meeting professionals, and the consumer marketplace.
This position repots to the President and Managing Director, Seaport Companies.
Schedule Requirements
The primary work schedule is Monday through Friday. During peak times occasional nights and weekends may be necessary. Travel may be required and some overnight stay possible.
Objectives
- With the management team, define the positioning of the Seaport products and services among the various market segments which they serve.
- Harmonize all communications to provide a positive and consistent image which supports the positioning and optimizes the use of outside resources and funds.

Attend and participate in team meetings and agency events. Attend regular one-on-one meetings with management to gain insights on your current performance and developmental opportunities. Work with manager to provide mentoring and training opportunities for Technical Designers, Production Designers and Associate Production Designers. Work on your own and within the team to improve processes, reduce costs and focus on easy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate or Technical Degree required. Bachelor Degree preferred.
- 4-6 years related experience.
- Must be highly proficient in Macintosh operating systems, InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Quark Xpress as well as possess knowledge of electronic prepress, scanning and maintenance software.
- Must possess excellent knowledge of automated publishing workflows through XML and be familiar with Applescript.
- Must possess excellent production and creative related skills and the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast paced, high volume production environment.
- Must be motivated, highly organized, flexible, detail-oriented and possess excellent project management and communication skills.
- Flexibility during peak workload periods is a must.
